A Week of Highs and Lows - God Bless Sundays!

Quack!

This week has been pretty worrying, with my little blog getting some traffic from sites that can best be described as not my cup of tea.  I am no prude, don't get me wrong - but how and why a community of people interested in sharing themselves in the most intimate of manners could want to be connected to my blog is beyond me.

Anyway, a quick tweak to my details and I seem to have lost them....fingers crossed.  If the blog suddenly disappears, you'll know that I didn't shake them off as successfully as I had hoped.

On to other things......this week has seen me notch up my 90th follower.  This is very exciting for me and gets me closer to my overall target of 100 followers. 

My blogging frequency has dropped but that is in part due to the invasion explained above, and partly because my creative well remains a little dry.

I am off for some pre-birthday shopping now (mine!), and I need to get ready, so I will sign off with the following two messages:

1. If you feel inclined to take pity on me and help me reach 100 followers I would be nothing but grateful and would follow you straight back!

It's been a fabulous week for this blog - 26 new followers!  Over 1,500 page views since we started!

I am so thankful for the support and interest that you have given me so far.  I never imagined that I would find creating this blog to be so enjoyable or rewarding.

To be able to cover subjects like my love of women who have influenced me or to draw attention to causes like breast cancer awareness is so brilliant but to have people actually  read what I write is just wonderful.

So this post is my way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported me so far.  I truly do appreciate it.

Wow! What a Week!

Well, what can I say?  It has been another fabulous week at Love, Life and Celebrity!

We have notched up an impressive 2,300 page views in only 5 weeks, and as I type this, we have 34 followers which is just amazing.  My target for this week was 20 - haha!  I thought that was gonna be tough but 34 is just awesome!

I am slowly getting to grips with the wonderful world of blogging and all of the apps and gadgets that can be added here and there to jazz things up.  I never imagined I would ever have so much fun with HTML - even though I am still not entirely sure I understand any of it!

I have participated in a few hops - again, never knew what they were a month ago - and this week, we've had a pretty impressive turn out on the Heartthrob Thursday vote......

Colin Farrell is winning - which will obviously please the majority, but I am a little sad that Hugh or Will haven't done a bit better.  Mind you, still one day to go so who knows, I might be able to rally some support for them yet!

If you haven't voted yet and you feel inclined to have a go, the poll is over to your right, towards the top of the blog.......and don't feel that you have to vote for Hugh or Will....really.....I won't hold it against you if you feel drawn to add to the huge majority that is "the Farrell"...honestly!

I'm not going to ramble on too much more as I have had a very long day including a trip to the doctors (yuck), a 17 page report on the dullest subject you can imagine, and a tremendous back ache (possibly linked to being stooped over writing a 17 page report!).

What I require this evening is the arms of my husband and a good movie, so I will bid you farewell.

500 Reasons to be Cheerful!

Today has been a landmark for me.  I have two blogs - this one and Life, Love and Celebrity and they have both done really well.

This one has managed to achieve 500 page views, and Life, Love & Celebrity has scored over 1000!  I am so pleased!

Between them, both blogs have attracted views from 25+ countries and that is just amazing to me!

So if you have been here before and you are one of my 500, thank you so much!

My next target is to get to 10 followers on this blog, and 20 on the other one - quite a bit of work to do there I can tell you!

Update:  Since posting this, I have managed to get to five followers on here and 10 on my other blog - So I'm now halfway to my target on both!  Thanks guys!
