Going.....Going......Grey!

After my son’s birthday party on Saturday, I was extremely happy to wave the children goodbye and settle down with a large glass of wine and Saturday night TV.  I thought that the nightmare was over until the following morning……

As I brushed my teeth, I noticed something gleaming in my hair.  It looked like a thread of silk.  But it wasn’t.  It was the thing every woman dreads…..a grey hair!

The party had given me a grey hair – I am certain of it!

Having carefully plucked it out, I ran downstairs and demanded that the husband checked my entire head to ensure that no others were lurking where they would not be seen.  He assured me that my head was grey-free but I have my suspicion I was being misled – the level of panic in my voice presumably provoking my husband to tread carefully!

So I am going grey.....fact.

Big question therefore is to dye or not to dye?

Answers on a postcard please!

As one who has (almost) come to grips with their occasional gray hair, I'll tell you what my mom always told me...for every gray hair you pull out, two grow back in it's place..... I'm just saying!

Thanks so much for stopping by The House on the Corner ~ I'm following back!!

Only if you are a "Winter." I'm an "Autumn." I wish I could let it go, but it just doesn't suit me.
